Anne Hathaway was front and centre all through awards season. After Oscar she disappeared for a few weeks, resurfacing last night at the Valentino event, seated on the other side of the designer who – photo assumption! – seemed to be more interested in what Gwyneth and Madonna had to say.

Before you huff and puff about how much you hate Gwyneth, can you honestly say that if you were seated where Mr V was seated, you would have preferred to engage in discussion with Anne “the stage is my first love” Hathaway over Her Madgesty and the GOOPer?
