Keira Knightley today in London for the Laurence Olivier Theatre Awards nominee luncheon. She's photographed every day in and out of the theatre, always wearing the same clothes, never wanting to give them anything fresh. Full Story

Matt’s little hairs

For a role? It’s always for a role. Hopefully it’s for a role. Because it’s a problem if he’s growing it above his lip for fun. They look so pubey. I don’t want to look at a man’s mouth and see a vagina. This is Matt Damon and his wife Luciana at the premiere of Green Zone in NYC last night. Full Story

Robert Pattinson by request

Katie M sends me a lovely note several times a week for Robert Pattinson news. Today she promised it would be her last for the Olympic break. Katie is an example of a sane fan. I expect I’ll be hearing from a lot of insane fans today. Or if you’re a Twi-Hard, please look away. You will not approve. Full Story

Oscar morning hugs

My mother arrives tomorrow. They’re coming for my Olympic Torch Run. I confess, being a rather unemotional person, it’s starting to affect me. Am I getting too sappy? Where’s my bitch? Perhaps a discussion for another time. The point is, I just watched Jeremy Renner’s reaction to his Oscar nomination this morning on The Today Show and the way he and Anthony Mackie hugged each other and I got the goosy bumps. Full Story

Dumb title portends more?

As you know, for months I’ve been bitching about the dumbassness of the title Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps. A trailer has been released online. Don’t really like the way it’s cut but am still kinda intrigued. By Michael Douglas. Shia LaBeouf looks like an infant. And while that scene with Carey Mulligan in her shirt and laptop is totally useless, she does look gorgeous. Full Story

Saoirse is versatile

Lovely Saoirse Ronan is still promoting The Lovely Bones which, after a pushed back release, hasn’t been performing too badly. Obviously not the awards bait it was predicted to be last summer after critical annihilation but with a revamped marketing strategy focusing on teen girls, Bones isn’t a complete bust financially, and sometimes that’s all that matters. The happy couple

They announced earlier today that they are expecting and tonight James McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff arrived together at the UK premiere of The Last Station totally blissed out and beautiful even though I’m not sure about his hair. Can’t decide. She however, at 39 and pregnant with their first, has never looked lovelier. Full Story

Tilda, Coco, and Kevin

Tilda Swinton is at Sundance promoting I Am Love. She is Woman. She is Best. She is Coco. Love for Anthony Mackie & Liveblogging the Globes!

The Hurt Locker has managed to stay in the game. Because it’s so great. Even though it was released so long ago, The Hurt Locker is a top awards contender, there’s no doubt that the film will receive a nod for Best Picture and Katherine Bigelow could be the first female director to win a Best Director Oscar. James McAvoy for a cold

Oh well now this is helpful. Am a disgusting snotty mess but will never complain about waking up to new photos of James McAvoy, especially since they’re so hard to come by. This is James in LA last night for the premiere of The Last Station. He’ll be headed to Vancouver soon to begin work on the tentatively titled I’m With Cancer with Seth Rogen and Anna Kendrick. Jennifer Connelly shoe porn

Arriving at Letterman today likely to promote Creation about Charles Darwin. Connelly plays Darwin’s wife and her real life husband Paul Bettany as the man himself. The film opens January 22nd. I always forget she won an Oscar. Because theirs is a low key life. They stay off the scene, they work hard, they don’t famewhore unnecessarily, and they try to keep their sh-t private. Full Story

The Frontrunner

I met Jeff Bridges a few months ago in Toronto during TIFF. He showed up at the Men Who Stare at Goats afterparty and I remember posting on my Twitter right away that he`s a sexy beast. It`s a lot of beard, but there`s something so compelling about him, about the way his eyes crinkle, and how he holds himself, and his cowboy boots and the pants, oh yeah, the pants. Full Story

Just don’t write anymore…

Or cheat. Have mentioned this before but Troy Dyer was the boy for my early 20s. When that kind of idealistic bullsh-t seemed romantic. I will say however that I never liked his corny erotica. At any age. Which, along with maturity, I guess, and of course the fact that he cheated on his wife Uma, contributed to the de-quiveration of Ethan Hawke. Full Story

He said he would climb Kilimanjaro for charity, then his girlfriend decided to tag along, but he got booked for a movie so he backed out, and since she doesn’t get booked for sh-t, she had to keep at it. Along with Emile Hirsch who was confirmed yesterday as the “surprise” celebrity. Full Story
