A lot of dudes in Hollywood lose their hot fast. Not Richard Gere. Richard Gere turns 60 in 2009. He looks great. Maybe it’s all the meditating and spiritual enlightenment experience from hanging out with the Dalai Lama.

Richard and wife Carey Lowell and their son Homer are also in St Barts with the rest of them enjoying the holiday.

Interestingly enough, even though he’s 15 years older, Richard Gere’s schedule is MUCH busier than Tom Cruise’s these days. Gere continues to work steadily, has 3 projects in post production, and is in talks for 2 more potentials. He also stars in a movie that’s hoping to be Oscar bait next year – Amelia with the overrated Hilary Swank. Ugh. She has two… TWO… Oscars. And Kate Winslet has none.
